[Friday Flood! 8]

Nice detail

So this one was another portal flood, or friday flood i mean, still confused about it all, but you have a nice piece here in this one, has some 3-d feel to it and all and is differant with some nice ideas and such, the colors could be brighter,now im thinking this is a dino? somehow it must be since thats the theme and all, but anyways it was pretty good i thought, anyways nice job.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Would be nice to add some brighter coplors on the lighter areas, As i have suggested to the others, Since this is like a theme {FLOOD THE PORTAL} or {FRIDAY FLOOD} Why not have a description in the authers comments about that, kind of gives the viewers who dont know about it an idea and such.

Thanks, but the colours are meant to be coppery/bronzish, and ever-so-slightly miserable to reflect the mood of the head.

Also I feel a bit odd on you reviewing my lack of author comments, since it's not part of my submission. It's quite fun to cause a bit of confusion in the art portal once a month, but the intention is to cover the page with thumbnails (which didn't happen this month!)

Ok so im not too sure what {FLOOD THE PORTAL} is but guess its make one theme by a number of users? as a tip to improve on that idea i suhhest you all put it in the comments, might even draw more attention to the other pieces, as for this one, its very colorfull and a good dino in the middle seems rushed and somewhat simple like, its not bad its kinda neat actually, i would love to see abit more {TEXTURE} in the dino but from what it is , its pretty good if you ask me, so to better improve on this maybe some more texture on the dino skin, and an update on the authers comments. anyways good stuff as always.

Flood the portal is an activity that the art forum does once a month where everyone uses the same thumbnail in their piece so that the portal all has the same thumb if enough people participate.

I realize that this dinosaur is rushed, I had to make him in like 40 minutes, so you're pretty spot on there. I agree that a texture would have been nice, or at least some more detail.

Nice rose here the sketch and black and white style is pretty good, you should think about redoing, the rose but running it though paint shop pro or even photoshop so you can run this with some {COLOR} dont get me wrong its good but with some of the added color would make it much better, the sketch it self is good work great shading and nice detail, the rose part itself could use more shaping around the edges, the leaves came out great almost perfect, but anyways great job, so a few ideas of making it better are adding some color, some shaping around the flower edges, other then that it was ok, anyways nice piece.

Round out some flower edges, and adding some color would be great touch for making it better

thank you for the detailed review! i definitely need work on this one yes it was done in roughly 10 minutes, and i do agree color would do a lot for it. But i have never been one to work with color, pencil and pen are what I do. Thank you tho! :)

Wow i really love the color on this its very {BRIGHT} and blends into becomming brighter, but again its one of the smaller size of your works, needs to be {LARGER} like i mentioned before with some of your other ones now i know your newer ones have some larger screen saver sizes, but ayways its a pink bunny and you can deffinantly see the {HEADS} in that aspect of things, the one thing i thought was off color would be the {GREEN in the center somehow it didnt seem to match up with the purples and such, but other then that its another great piece i thought, and would love to see more from you real soon, untill then good luck and keep the art comming.}

Wow this one just kind of jumps out at you, i love the little {DESIGN}in the middle and while i love color artpieces you seem to have added some nice {BLENDS} like the warping feel on some of the stuff, and i have noticed you have gotton better with each new art piece you do comeout with so nice job there, Im thinking this should be larger though, seems abit on the {SMALL} size make it more like a desktop backround size or something, but other then that it was pretty good, keep up the good work, i look forward to reviewing more soon.

Make the size much larger, maybe have more of that design thats in the center broaden out more into the outer edges aswell.

Orb of color

I just love the color on this, and the texture seems to be its like a circle or like an orb of sorts, the differant colors seem to really balance out with everything else, the light from the {CENTER} could use abit more brightness to reflect more of a shine and more of a focus area, its all a pretty good piece of art the size should be bigger but i understand that this was one of your earlier works, but regardless its pretty nifty, so to improve on things you should possibly add more shine, make the size larger and add some deeper colors, anyways great first piece i thought.

and so we have another decent piece here this one has some really good {TEXTURE} now the idea of the cat in a suit is pretty interesting, you seem to have this interesting style like hidden in the artwork with the flower like vines kinda makes it your own and you did this with this one wich was pretty decent, the backrounds were pretty neat, it all seemed to work together and made for some good artistic feel to it wich was a really nice touch and i liked it, Also nice touch on giving the backround a lighter feel to focus on the main parts of the character, so very nice job all around and i like your work and look forward to reviewing more of your stuff even your newer works anyways untill next time good luck.

Im thinking some {BORDERS} or frames would make this even better almost like a painting on a wall or something
