[Life on Mars?]

Very nice

I like the "LIGHTING" I kind of feel like you should have had a more dominant lighting come in on the man or characters maybe even some backround props, I have seen a number of Art pieces come through here and there, And this one is not perfect But I do like the elements on this one, While not perfect but you have shown that what you have here does work, And you do get your idea across the board.

Wow beautiful

Wow there is a lot going on in this piece and the trees, my god the trees are just wonderful. You feel like you're about to walk into a mystery or a horror with this red riding hood. It gives that Red Riding Hood feeling off with the cape she has on in full red. I do love the way she is not facing you but behind you. I love love the dark blue tones and coloring here.

so this was pretty awsome and I have to say this was really good work and I have to say the use of "COLOR" here is very amazing im an instant fan of this piece it just jumps out at you with the color vibe, anyways nice work indeed, if anything needs to be changed on this I would just ad that a frame or window frame like we are looking into there color world here, anyways nice job.

Pretty Cute

So this was really cute I love the "SHINE" you ad on the faces and other points this was a "SIMPLE" piece but is radiant with all sorts of little details that make it cute so nice job on this piece I do think you could use some backround work maybe some backdrop scene of a city scene or trees etc, anyways nice work.

So first off very "NICE" and cool design here, the "SHINE" was nice but I think you could have had more of a sparkle and shine come off of the eye pieces and the helment itself, maybe some more domminant stars even, these are just some small ideas anyways nice work.

The "STRUCTURE" on the character is amaung I do think you should ad more glows and lighting effects like with the circular beam she has going on and some "BACKROUND-ELEMENTS" would also be nice, Now this entry wont get the perfect award but what entry does, But what it does offer, Is a good balance of what works and some elements that you did bring forward are nice, Now go on and make more nifty stuff.

Thanks for the feedback! I don't think more glow would've benefited this piece as I feel I already went too far with the glow on the magic rune. If you add too much glow on something that isn't the focal point of a piece you might end up with an unfocused drawing. Her really is the focal point!

So this was notbad at all, it is simple and the colors are basic but you have a nice structure here I do think you could ad much more to this with some textures more backround scene and so on, overall this was a nice piece indeed, and hope you make more like this sometime.

Notbad

Ok so notbad work here but a lot is going on and it seems to be a bit confusing. I do like the "OVERALL-DESIGNS" you have going on, each one is unique and has something to offer. The way you wrote your name into the tag off to the side a bit was interesting. From the "LITTLE-MAN" in his canoe, to the face, to the book, etc. The font was great and the way you drew those stars around the font really added to it and made for a "DAZZLING-LOOK" with good solid elements of original ideas. I think the fonts you always create are some of your best pieces of art, but you've heard that from me before. I would hope that maybe you'd make the text bigger next time, more space should have been used here as there is a lot of white space going on in the edges. White backgrounds are fine, but when white space is surrounding your work it can get lost and it makes it look smaller as well, so I would either "MAKE-THINGS-LARGER" to fit the space or crop that all out next time. My fav part of this is the little man trying to canoe to somewhere. I would love to see you expand on this one and maybe tell a small story, with a background, and maybe some animation? That would be interesting to see. Overall a good sample, needs to be something more tho, and I hope you expand on these ideas in the near future.

As stated above, but mostly just take each element and make individual ideas and submissions with these and remember to eliminate your white space as it makes the project seem lost and look small.

So this was really good and you really have a realistic look here, especilly on the faces, the paint style is just absolutly amazing and I am very impressed with the work you have done here, so you get my praise on this one its a beauitifull piece, make more soon.

Okay so this was "DIFFERENT", not something you usually do and more of a real "PAINTING-TYPE" photo of the art you did, rather than something you turn digital or "SCANNED". Did you scan this? I don't see that here. I love the green deep dark background you have here. I always enjoy when you use a background instead of your common go-to of white. I think it adds something different and new, and there is nothing wrong with branching out now and then trying new things like this. I just don't think the main art is something too good, but it is nice. I mean, it is almost like a tattoo design or a "STENCIL" pattern you can use for prints and body art. I think that is what this would be good for here and not too much of a piece for animations or "CHARACTERS". It is a bit abstract in terms of the design and has a dark tone that I do enjoy. It is just different from all the other things you've been doing and I think while it is good to try things, I am not sure I would recommend you do this one over again. Although, I do think it is cool and original, but not something I'd do all the time. The light catching it did make a nice "EMBOSSED" look for this piece and I think if you wanted to do that again that would work, but maybe try to recreate it in a digital means by copying the light and shadows around the design for a crisp more clean look.

Redo this in a digital way to recreate it and maybe use this for a tattoo or print design.

No it's a photo, you're right. Couldn't scan it as you need a certain angle of light to get the effect, even though I wish it wasn't so dark. Well the thing about being able to get this effect in a less digital way was the coolest part about this I think, not as much the doodle, and the type of ink/paper that allowed it was more of a coincidence. Emboss effects with digital art's a lot easier, but a metallic effect... yeah I haven't mastered that yet. Thanks for the review; good suggestions though!
